Child Therapy
Children often express themselves through play, behaviour, or emotion, sometimes in ways that are hard to understand. Therapy offers children a safe, supportive space to explore feelings, build emotional regulation skills, and make sense of their world at their own pace.
At Cultivate, we use developmentally appropriate, play-based, and attachment-informed approaches to support children through challenges such as anxiety, big emotions, family changes, grief, and trauma. We collaborate closely with caregivers to ensure children feel safe, supported, and connected both in and out of the therapy room.
Common areas of support include: - Emotional regulation and coping with anxiety or anger - Behavioural challenges or social struggles - Parental separation, divorce, or family transitions - Grief and loss - Attachment or bonding disruptions - Early trauma or difficult experiences
Our work with children always centres their safety, agency, and connection to the people who care for them most.
